HOW TO FIND US
Exit off highway through Mudgeeraba and follow the Springbrook signs for 23 klm (approx
20min) till you see the Springbrook Homestead (restaurant) sign. Next on the left is
Springbrook School, and the next driveway is the Observatory.
You can also go via Nerang on the Murwillumbah Road. Through Nerang until you pass over
the Nerang River, then a turnoff on the left to Springbrook. Follow the road to the T
junction and turn right to Springbrook.

We welcome Astrophotographers from all Countries to stay at Springbrook, and take
advantage of the dark skies. Your equipment can be piggybacked on the robotic telescopes
available.
There is self contained accommodation very close to the Observatory, and Springbrook is
only 45 min. drive from Surfers Paradise.
The Observatory is available from Dusk to Dawn. A computer office attached to the
Observatory is air-conditioned for cold nights. Tea and coffee making facilities are
available. Meals are available at Springbrook Homestead.
