A point worth mentioning
about the Springbrook Plateau is that there are in total 160 acreage allotments only . A lot
have been sold in the 2008-09 State Government $40 million buy up of Springbrook. We are
still awaiting total numbers to be advised, due to the secrecy of this buy up by the
Beattie/Bligh Government. This accounts for the small number of acreage blocks
offered for sale . There approximately 360 house blocks only left after a Council and
State Government buy up.
All subdivision was ceased here in the late 1960's in order to preserve the rural charm
and tourism attraction of the area. |
